Know someone who's looking for their second chance?

The ADAPT project works with young people aged 15 to 25 who have been in a Young Offenders Institution.

It provides them with intensive mentoring, support and advocacy and helps them to gain EET opportunities in Salford, Trafford and Manchester.

The project is supported by key statutory, public and private sector partners and represents a great opportunity for young people to break out of the cycle of offending behaviour and to ADAPT to a positive future beyond custody.

How we help them ADAPT

  • Supporting resettlement in the community
  • Committed case worker providing mentoring, practical support and advocacy
  • Employability skills
  • Education and enrichment programmes
  • Accredited qualifications
  • Training, work experience andvocational opportunities

ADAPT is being delivered by a partnership led by Salford Foundation, including Gears+ and Creative Industries in Salford (CRIS)
