Public And Voluntary Organisations

There is significant focus on 'what works' with young offenders; the policy and practice arena is constantly changing and youth offending looks set to remain a priority for public officials and politicians. The ADAPT project is part of this ongoing search to establish best practice with young offenders, especially around issues of resettlement and transition between children's and adult services.

The project is supported by local statutory criminal justice agencies and is becoming well networked with other projects and services in the voluntary and community sector. ADAPT is being externally evaluated by the University of Salford and ARCS Ltd and will also be holding a series of 'open house' events which will enable ex-offenders, service providers, commissioners and policy makers to interact and discuss what works, how, and why. If you would like to join the conversation and share in the learning from the ADAPT project, please get in touch.
